Selfling is on the App Store!

September 23, 2016 by Sammy Selfling

FOR NOW!

We Still Need Your Help!

Our app is lean and mean and it will show you and your organization what the power of discussion can really do for the youth you are working with and the ones you haven’t reached yet. Yet this is only the MVP and we are still running a crowdfunding campaign to fund this version. We need your help to keep this momentum going and your feedback to improve Selfling and add new features.

Think about the times you spent confused, afraid, alone, or in pain as a youth and join us on our booster campaign to make a statement that youth everywhere deserve more than they’re getting.

PLEDGE NOW!

Why This? Why Now?

by James Higgins

Since creating the Selfling Teen Support Foundation and carrying on this journey, I have told the story the way I thought everyone wanted to hear it.

Recently, however, that has changed. Had to change. Too many people had approached me about the way I was selling Selfling and telling me that I was holding something back. And sure enough, when pressed, I would show them what this all really meant to me. Like Bruce Banner, I would go from talking like a socially awkward app salesman to a militant youth advocate who was not standing by to let young people get hurt anymore.

Below is the video that tells my whole story. It is raw and it is emotional and I mean every word of it. I can only hope that more people get to a place where they confront the darkness that they are carrying around. Through that confrontation, and the discussion that comes from it, we can really stand firm in support of our young people.

Only be being totally present can you stand a chance in affecting the change you want to affect.
